Programs That Count!

Discovering Women of Invention

Our theme this year is “Discovering Women of Invention.

Each day, girls rotate through exciting programs and activities that focus on:
Academic Enrichment and Support… to expand on and support school-based learning and engagement.
Healthy Living Guidance… to provide the knowledge, skills and encouragement to develop and sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Life Skills Instruction… to build the skills and behaviors that enable girls to function independently and live a productive and fulfilling life.

You can find girls curled up with a good book, busy with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) experiments, planting organic veggies, rehearsing with the chorus, engaged in our computer labs, creating artistic masterpieces, and so much more!
We also provide additional tutoring and homework help at no extra cost.

The Girls Inc Before and After-Schooll Enrichment Program complements school-day learning, and gives girls extra hours of structured learning every week! Our trained staff ensures that our programs support your daughter’s daily learning to maximize success!

Before-school care begins at 6:30 am and we provide transportation to all of the schools we serve, except high schools. For our after-school program, we pick up girls at all of the schools we serve after the last bell, and transport them to our center.

Our Kids Café, sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities, serves breakfast in the morning and a full dinner every afternoon. Our menus meet FDA and Health Department standards for nutrition.

You can choose between before-school care, after-school care, or both!  For more information, please contact Gail at 727-544-6230 ext 114.

Girls Inc of Pinellas provides after school transportation from schools listed on this page.

If your daughter’s school is not listed, please contact Destiny Transportation for additional transportation options, by clicking here.

The Girls Inc After School Enrichment program helps our girls discover who they are and who they can become… prepared and ready to take their places in their communities, and their world.
