I’m Sofia Arsow and I am a proud 9-year-old student from Starkey Elementary.

I really enjoy math at school.  Language arts? Not so much! But let me tell you, when I step into Girls Inc., it’s like entering a world of pure joy.

The staff there? Absolutely amazing. They’re always positive, ready to listen and somehow, they make everyday exciting.

One of my absolute favorite spots at Girls Inc. is the STEM lab. It’s where we dive into science, get our hands dirty, and even jam out to music. The best thing we’ve done? Making our own lip scrub. Yep, you heard that right! We used stuff you can easily find in your kitchen, making it super healthy for you. Plus, we got to test it out, which was the coolest part.

Summer camp was a blast, especially hanging out in the computer lab. I got to play around with Canva and explore all sorts of future careers. And guess what? I’ve set my sights on becoming a canine officer. Why? Because you get to work with dogs, take them home, and mostly because they usually work with German Shepherds—who are just the cutest! I’m all about the idea of training these dogs to be friendly, helpful, and well-behaved.

I just wanted to share how much Girls Inc. means to me. It’s a place where I can be myself, learn new things, and dream about the future. And with your support, more girls like me can have these amazing experiences. Thanks for listening and for helping us reach for the stars!
