Desiré Sheils Nelson is a dedicated business development executive with a strong commitment to philanthropy, particularly supporting girls, leadership, and education.  She is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in business development, accounting, finance, and executive recruitment.  As the current Business Development Executive with Carr, Riggs, and Ingram in Tampa Bay, Desiré excels at cultivating new business opportunities and driving revenue through strategic client relationships and effective sales strategies.

As a former licensed foster parent and adoptive parent, Desiré is deeply involved in nurturing children and supporting adoption and foster care initiatives.  Desiré has also made a significant impact as an active member of The Junior League of Tampa, Account Scouts Academy Board Member, and Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hillsborough, where she advocates for the well-being of girls and women.  These philanthropic efforts reflect her passion for giving back to the community and empowering others, especially young girls, to reach their full potential.
