Nardo Munoz brings over 12 years of dedicated experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to the Board of Directors at Girls Inc. of Pinellas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Public Health in Occupational Safety from the University of South Florida. Nardo currently works as the Environmental, Health & Safety Leader – East North America at Veolia. Nardo’s professional journey has seen him excel in senior leadership roles at renowned Fortune 500 companies, including Amazon, AECOM, Chewy and most recently, Veolia where he is the developing the entire EHS compliance enterprise for all of their Service Facilities, Manufacturing, and Corporate locations in East North America. Nardo also holds an active Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, complimenting his EHS experience and educational background. His expertise in creating and implementing safety and health protocols has consistently contributed to the well-being and operational success of these organizations.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Nardo has been actively involved in leadership and mentorship within the community. He served as the Director of Expansion for the National Executive Board of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Incorporated, where he played a key role in fostering growth and development within the organization across the United States, expanding to an additional 14 chapters during his tenure. Furthermore, Nardo serves as West Florida Chapter Member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Additionally, Nardo is a professional development leadership mentor for Project Learning Tree – Canada, an initiative of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), where he supports the advancement of environmental education and sustainability practices.
