Alex Holian

Alex Holian is a benefits advisor at BKS Partners in Tampa, Florida.  She joined BKS in 2020 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University. Alex holds her 2-20,2-15,6-20,20-44, and 4-40 insurance licenses.  Prior to graduating, Alex spent a summer internship at a top 5 benefits consulting firm where she won numerous awards by excelling in various sales and insurance challenges.

During her time at Florida State Alex was involved with the Florida State women’s water polo team as well as being a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity where she held numerous executive positions, such as Vice President of Social Activities and treasurer.

Ms. Holian is originally from Miami, Florida and is a native Spanish speaker.  Her passion for service developed at a young age through her work in her community through the Branches Foundation.  At Florida State Alex was involved with the Children’s Miracle Network, the Florida Disables Outdoors association, and the Light the Night foundation.

Alex hopes to one day merge her passion of swimming and service to build an organization that helps teach children and teens how to swim in the state of Florida where water safety is crucial.   Ultimately, she hopes to change legislation so that students are required to pass a swim test, or a water safety test to progress through school.

When not working or serving her community, Alex enjoys staying active with her local CrossFit gym as well as cooking and getting outdoors.

Alex joins the Girls Inc board as a millennial leader with innovative ideas to support girls aspiring to leadership.
