Girls Inc. of Pinellas Is Preparing for 10 Weeks of STEAM Programming for Pinellas County Girls Partnership Opportunities Available
Pinellas Park, FL (July 7, 2020)
We are excited to announce that this Fall, Girls Inc of Pinellas county will be launching our Full STEAM Ahead! programming for girls in Kindergarten through 12th grades. This full 10 weeks of dedicated after school programming is designed to inspire girls to pursue leadership roles in STEAM-focused fields.
Each of the ten weeks will be focused on a specific area of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics). We will be collaborating with ten industry leaders for this afterschool programming that will take place from October 5th through December 18th.

Girls will have experiential learning opportunities that include:
- Training in our Girls Inc STEAM-focused curriculum
- Completing a full project from inception to prototype
- Meet leaders in their field of interest and gain understanding of what a day in the life of’ a leader in the STEAM industries is like
